Ritz Safety continues to expand its footprint with the acquisition of AGS Safety & Supply based in Phoenix, AZ. This continues Ritz Safety's growth as one of the largest privately-owned safety supplies in the United States. AGS Safety has served the safety industry in the Southwestern US since being founded in 1981, as a family-owned entity. They provide a wide array of personal protective equipment (PPE), facility safety solutions, and custom safety gear to customers of all sizes, both locally, regionally, and nationally. The acquisition of AGS Safety marks the thrid strategic acquisition in 2021 for Ritz Safety, after acquiring Safety Resource, Inc of Rock Hill, SC in May, and Abco Safety of Cincinnati, OH and Paducah, KY in June.
Ritz Safety's recent acquisition of AGS Safety reinforces our position as a national safety distributor, serving the industrial, agricultural, construction, mining, manufacturing, service, waste, energy, and specialty chemical sectors, among others. Supporting customers looking for a value-add safety partner for their PPE, facility safety, safety supply, and training needs has been Ritz Safety’s mission for almost 40 years. Ritz Safety services over 5,000 customers monthly, shipping millions of products annually, with access to over 200,000 products in the safety space.

While financial terms of the acquisition are not disclosed, AGS Safety is a company approaching $12M in annual revenues, has 20 team members, and is a critical addition to Ritz Safety’s growing geographic expansion and reach.
